Barrister's Ball FAQ
2. Where is Barrister's Ball? The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, 1301 Constitution Ave, NW.
3. How much are tickets? $50/person.
4. What's included in my ticket? Four hours of unlimited beer and wine, heavy hors d'ouervres, 750 of your closest friends, and enough dancing to last you until Fall Float 2010. Traditionally, this is a semi-formal/cocktail to formal event.
5. What's the theme? Barrister's Ball this year is entitled "Tales of the Jazz Age." We encourage 20s style attire, but it is by no means necessary. Think bootleggers, flappers, black and white, speakeasys, the Great Gatsby, etc.
6. How many tickets can I buy? Up to three per person. This is because the event sells out year after year so we need to manage tickets sold in a fair manner.
7. When can I buy tickets? Tickets go on sale on Monday, March 15th at the Chapel Tables at 10am. We will sell tickets daily from 10am to 2pm until the event sells out.
8. What if I'm an evening student? We will sell tickets for evening students from 5:30-6:30pm on Monday, March 15th and Tuesday, March 16th at the Chapel Tables.
9. How can I pay for my ticket? Cash or Check made out to Georgetown Student Bar Association ONLY.
10. Will this event sell out? YES! It happens every year. Last year, the tickets sold out in 2 days. So please come buy your tickets early.
11. Are there refunds? No! Absolutely no refunds, no matter what.
12. But what if I find out I can't go after I buy my ticket? If you're interested in finding a buyer for your ticket because you don't plan on using it yourself anymore, please email Dan Soleimani at dansoleimani@gmail.com.
13. Similarly, what if I want a ticket and they've been sold out? Please email dansoleimani@gmail.com - Dan will try to match buyers with sellers after sales have ended.
14. What if I STILL have questions? Email smorriss@gmail.com
